Professional Trike Instruction
Norm,
Thanks a lot!
I'll be back for more.

From Gibbogear's site: ..........I had an excellent top-notch instructor (Norm Bjornstad) but I worried a lot about making the move from the two-place trainer to the single-place 103 trike with the MantaRay, especially since I planned to solo in the 103 trike. Norm flew the MantaRay and we spent a while talking about the differences between it & the trainer, then he turned me loose. I shouldn't have worried! The MantaRay flies exactly how I want it to - I never imagined it would be so easy to land.............

Hello Norm,
I finally got to fly it for the first time yesterday morning.
Everything went well and I had a good 50 minute first flight learning this new wing.
I just wanted to thank you for all of your excellent training in January.
Till Next Time,
Gary W (Rimrock, AZ)
Thanks for all your great help, Norm!
You are a unique individual and one hell-of-a good instructor. I appreciate immensely that after searching all over the lower 48 for a trike CFI, I ended up with the best, right there one hour from my son’s house in Scottsdale. Have every intention of hitting you up for some advanced instruction next Christmas (2012). Hopefully, I’ll have landings down pat by then. My friends, Lloyd and Pete are going to help me put the skis on my Northwing Apache next week. I just went out yesterday and packed (and marked with spruce boughs) a 2000 ft. air strip on a snow field near our cabin!
See you next year, Norm.
Thanks again, Rip B. (Alaska)
From the Yahoo Group, Arizona Trikers,
The first thing I did when I thought I might like the experience of flying a trike was to go to Phoenix Regional Airport. It is a very low traffic airport south of Phx where you can fly a trike, do some touch and go’s, and see how you like it first hand. The person to contact is Norm Bjornstad, he is a CFI for trikes (anything from a single flight to being certified to fly solo, to getting your own gear, he is the one in the area to contact).
His email is Norm@Iflytrikes.com and cell phone 480-236-6783
