Norm has been flying some kind of aircraft since 1971 when he earned his Private Pilot Certificate in airplanes which he then followed up in 1978 with a Commercial and Instrument rating, again in airplanes. It wasn’t until about 1990 when he saw his first trike that he thought now THAT is something he would like to try.
It wasn’t long before he got his first trike and fell in love with the “out in the open” kind of feeling that a trike gives you. 

He received his Ultralight Instructor rating (BFI) in 2001 and in 2006 with the advent of Sport Pilot, obtained his FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) rating.
While flying regular airplanes is great and has its place, flying a trike and helping others to experience the thrill is Norm’s first love.
